Based near London, in Essex, Brian is a Registered Information Technology Consultant and Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management. He describes himself as a communicator. He has spent a career in technical communication with a focus on marketing. It was his curiosity as to how a telephone works that led him to join Post Office Telephones as a planner after leaving school. Having quickly obtained an in-house technical qualification he soon became a local and national tutor for the course leading to that qualification. His work encompassed both local and international telecommunications. Moving from operations to sales and account management roles within BT, he has served clients of all sizes including several household names and the British government, and has travelled internationally. Following his success in account management – where he was described as a ‘top drawer’ account manager – he was selected to bring his customer facing skills into marketing and was a senior marketing specialist firstly launching a new computer-based product and then covering a range of responsibilities marketing to the public sector. At the same time, Brian developed his interest in journalism, managing in his spare time to gain the Communications, Advertising and Marketing Foundation’s Certificate in Communications Studies and complete technical and journalism courses with the BBC. Moving to Mitsubishi Corporation as a deputy departmental manager, Brian had the responsibility for IT and telecoms trading in the UK having introduced new computer products to the UK and European Markets. Returning to pure communications Brian joined Telewest Communications as a Senior Account Manager looking after some of the company’s main clients. Because of his technical understanding, it wasn’t long before he was asked take regional responsibility for the company’s Internet sales. After a couple of years, he was headhunted by Internet Network Services Ltd (a subsidiary of Cable & Wireless) where he developed his IP skills to a high level and became licensed to sell Internet security. His role at INS was as country manager responsible for managing the company’s resellers in other European countries and developing the European network. Reorganisation in the company took him into a relationship management role with Cable & Wireless where he worked closely with major telecoms suppliers to launch new products. Following redundancy in 2002 Brian created his own online business consultancy, during which time he has been an e-business adviser for Business Link. Brian operates to a personal ethical code and has a number of references from previous clients paying testimony to his professional, knowledgeable and caring approach to business. |

Eoin is based in Scotland and has been involved full time with the Internet since 1999. Before that he worked in IT servicing a large department but spend much of his spare time working on various projects on the Internet. In fact Eoin was actually on line before the WWW was even invented. He started off running a Web Design Agency but in the last few years saw that there was a massive need for people to "be seen" on line and moved more into search engine marketing and web development. Has many successful projects under his belt where he works closely with Alan every day.

Richard is our representative in the East of England. He has a background in information delivery and has worked for well-known clients throughout the UK, including Pearl Group, HBOS, Experian, and Barclaycard amongst many others. He's quite happy not to have been online as long as Eoin! He developed an interest in data driven websites and has helped clients realise their ideas for online services. Realising that any website is of little potential unless people can find it, he is a founding member of the SEPRO team and works in a pre-sales support capacity.
